An old landrace variety originally from Talcolula, Oaxaca, Mexico which is near the center of origin for all tomatoes. This unique pear shaped variety has a cheery pink color with deep ruffled ribs. A prolific producer of 4-12 ounce fruits that benefits from staking. Reasonably disease resistant. Flavor is medium firm and pleasantly mild sweet, and the ribbed form makes for a very interesting looking slicer. Could also work as a stuffing tomato. Very eye-catching variety. Highly recommended!
