Methi

$6.00

Fenugreek, or Methi, is an annual herb and spice used throughout South Asia and the SWANA region. The seeds are used both whole and powdered in the preparation of pickles, vegetable dishes, dal, and spice mixes such as panch phoron and sambar powder. They are often roasted to reduce inherent bitterness and to enhance flavour. The plant produces seed pods from which the seeds can be harvested from.

The leaves are also prolifically used and can be harvested after just 30 days of growth. The plant does not grow back so it’s best to sow multiple successions of methi to guarantee a long harvest window. Very easy to grow! Can tolerate Full Sun to Part Shade. Direct seed in loose soil.

Each packet contains ½ oz of seed.
